Multi-Table Tournaments (Multi Tourneys):
Start Time: multiple table tournaments at Rummy Express will begin at the precise time that is specified in the Tournament Lobby.
-
End Time: A multiple table rummy tournament will cease as soon as one player has acquired all of the chips that are in play.
Registration: Players are allowed to register for specific multiple table tournaments provided they meet the terms and conditions for that tournament, they register prior to the beginning of the tournament and the number of allowable players has not been met yet. According to the terms of use for Rummy Express, players are allowed to utilize only one account in a multiple table tournament, just as in any other gaming service offered by Rummy Express.
-
Cancel Registration: Players may choose to cancel participation in a rummy tournament and receive a full refund to their account of their buy-in amount provided they cancel prior to the beginning of the multiple table tournament.
Amount of Players: The number of maximum players permitted is set separately for each tournament.
Tables and Seats: Seats and tables will be assigned on a random basis and cannot be changed.
Elimination: Players will be eliminated from multiple table elimination tournaments when they have reached a total of zero playing chips at the culmination of a round.
Playing Chips: The amount of playing chips for each player is predetermined and set for each multiple table tournament on a separate basis.
Rebuy: Multiple Table tournaments may include an option to rebuy chips while the tournament continues. This option makes it possible for players to purchase additional playing chips during a round and once they have been eliminated from the tournament, provided the tournament level has not yet exceed the maximum level.
Playing Chips: The beginning number of chips in the tournament will be the number of chips that players can purchase with a single rebuy.
Number of Rebuys: Each tourney features its own separate number of rebuys allowable per player, which is predetermined. You can find more information about this located inside the tournament lobby for that specific tourney.
Maximum Level: Each tourney allows the rebuy option up until a predetermined level has been reached. For example, a specific tourney may allow a rebuy option to remain open until level 2 is reached. This would allow eliminated players to rebuy provided that the tournament is at level two or lower. You can find more information about this topic in the tournament lobby.
Rebuy in play: Players are enabled to utilize the rebuy in play provided their chip count has not yet met or exceeded the starting chip count for that specific round. The ante amount in a paid to play round shall count as a portion of the chip counter for the player.
Elimination Rebuy: From the time of elimination, players are allowed twenty to thirty seconds to make a decision regarding whether they wish to rebuy into the tournament or not. The exact amount of time will depend upon the starting time of the first round for the Final Table. If the player decides to rebuy, the player shall receive the beginning number of playing chips and will be seated on a random basis at one of the tables.
Final Table: The rebuy option will be available according to the rules that are mentioned above, provided the final table has not yet started its first round.
- Distribution of Playing Chips:
Levels: Every multiple table tournament shall start with all players playing at the same level, which is Level 1. As the tourney continues, the levels shall increase based on an amount of time that is predetermined. Every level determines the Ante as well as the Playing Chips Ratio or PCR for each round that begins during that specific level. The duration of the level may change from one tourney to another.
Ante and Ante Pot: A specific Ante amount, which is the number of playing chips that is required in order to participate in each round, shall be set for each tournament level and shall increase as the tourney progresses. The Ante amount will be indicated at the upper right of the game room window. In the event a player has an amount of playing chips that is less than the required Ante amount, the player will still be allowed to participate in the next round. In the event they should win, the player will be allowed to collect the funds contained in the Ante Pot. You can find more information regarding this topic under Playing Chips Payout Table.
Each round shall have an individual Ante Pot that is comprised of the sum of the playing chips that is paid by players as an Ante to participate in that round. The winner of the round will take all of the playing chips contained in the Ante Pot.
Playing Chips Ratio (PCR): At the culmination of each round, the playing chips will be re-distributed amongst the players at the table based on the round's outcome. The penalty points of the defeated players will be multiplied by the PCR value of that specific round and this number of playing chips will then be deducted from the player's balance and added to the balance of the winner of the round.
For example: Suppose two players are seated and playing an elimination tournament of Kalooki and the Ante is 30 and the value of the PCR is 3. The first player wins the round by going Kalooki and the second player has three cards remaining in his or her hand. Those cards are -2, 2 and 3. The penalty points for player two are [(25+2+2+3)*3]=96. Furthermore, the first player will be entitled to receive the full number of playing chips in the Ante Pot. In this case, that is 60. As a result, at the end of the round, 156 playing chips (156 + 60) will be moved to the balance of the first player. 96 chips will be subtracted from the balance for player two.

Important: In addition to collecting the total of the playing chips contained in the Ante Pot, each round's winner will also be eligible to collect the amount of chips that each defeated player risked during that specific round. The number of playing chips that a player risks during each round is the number of chips that is left remaining in their account after the Ante is paid.
Tournament Points (TP): Beyond their playing chips, players shall be ranked based on their tournament points. At the end of a tournament, the tournament points assist in ranking players which have been eliminated and which did not go on to the final table. Players shall be ranked according to the order of their elimination. Players will acquire tournament points during each round of the tournament in the following manner:
Tournament Points Table:
| Places of the Players at the end of the round |
Tournament Points Acquired |

| Level Bonus |

Winner – Refers to when a player wins a round – the player collects 3 TP.
Middle Place – Refers to the end of a round and a player is not first or second place – the player collects 2 TP.
Last Place – Refers to when a round is ended and a player finished in the last place– the player collects 1 TP.
Level Bonus – Each time a new level becomes effective and a player is left in the game because they still have playing chips, the player will receive 2 TP.
- Vouchers: It is possible for some players to be allowed to register using a voucher in some tournaments. In other tournaments, vouchers are awarded as a portion of the prize pool. The option to use a voucher will be indicated in the tournament lobby. This information can be seen in the buy-in field. If a tournament has a voucher as a portion of the prize pool, this shall be viewable in the total prize pool field as well as in the prizes chart. Players must check the relevant box in the confirmation window in order to register for a tournament with a voucher. The confirmation window will open after the player presses Register. A list of the current and past vouchers for the player can be found in the Cashier screen located under the My Vouchers tab.
-
Ranking: When players have chips remaining and the multiple table tournament continues to run, players will be ranked based on the amount of chips they have left. After a player has been eliminated, meaning they have zero chips remaining at the end of a round, they will be ranked based on the amount of tournament points they have accumulated during the full multiple tournament regardless of the amount of time played. The final ranks of players will be decided once the multiple tournament is completed and can only increase.
Tie: In the event that more than one player has reached the same number of tournament points following the end of the multiple table tournament, the prize for that rank will be distributed in an equal manner between those players.
Final table ranking: The rank of players that reach the final table will be based upon their order of elimination. For example, the first player to be eliminated from the final table will be ranked in fourth place, etc.
* Tie policy mentioned above shall apply for instances of ties inside the final table as well.
Collapsing Tables: As the multiple tournament continues and as players are eliminated, the Rummy Express multiple table tournament system will continue to collapse tables and players will be moved on a random basis while the following rules are maintained:
- Disconnections:
Players shall assume full responsibility when registering for a multiple table tournament for the risk that their Internet may disconnect or there may be a communication interference between the Rummy Express servers and the player's PC. The player also assumes full risk for any freeze game, lag or any other possible problem resulting from their computers. With the exception of a server crash, Rummy Express shall not assume any responsibility regarding the disconnection of a player from the server.
Rummy Express does acknowledge that Internet disconnections and interferences may occur and stipulates that players shall remain in the multiple table tournament in Auto Play mode until they are eliminated or they return.
Server Crash: In the event of a server crash, all players registered will receive a full refund for their buy-in amount.
- Play Time: Rummy Express requests that players play in a timely fashion and have thus designed a multiple table tournament system so that the time factor will be disregarded in ranking players.
- Auto-Play: In the event that players should fail to complete their turn on time, which is one minute, the system shall draw one card from the stock pile automatically and then discard that card at the end of the player's turn. This is known as auto play.
In the event that all players that are assigned to a specific table should be in auto play mode, the round will continue for another five minutes. At the end of this time period, the round will cease and the chips will be distributed based on the players' hands.
Prizes Distribution: The prizes shall be distributed as soon as the multiple table tournament has ended based on the table located inside the tournament lobby. The table located inside the tournament lobby will display the first three places by default. You can review the full In the Money list by clicking on the More Info button that is located on the Prizes Table found inside the tournament lobby. You can also find out more information about the payout structure for multiple table tournaments by reviewing the Payout Structure Table.
Game Room Chat: Rummy Express allows and encourages chatting during multiple table tournament rounds. Rummy Express does reserve the right at its sole discretion to disqualify players immediately from the multiple table tournament in the event they should not comply with the Chat Etiquette for Rummy Express.
Terms of Use: The terms of use and play for Rummy Express shall apply for all of the multiple table tournaments. Rummy Express shall reserve the right at its own discretion to take any measures deemed necessary against players that are caught engaging in any play pattern or activity that does not comply with the terms of use and play. Players that are caught engaging any such activities shall risk the termination of their Rummy Express account and the loss of their winning funds.
